Lawrence Kwasi Antwi, a member of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) communication team has stated that NDC's John Dramani Mahama, would double as both the Presidential candidate and the running mate for the 2020 general election.

According to him, this would happen because no credible member of the opposition NDC is willing to run with Mahama in the upcoming polls.

As reported by KingdomFMonline, Lawrence Kwasi Antwi made this allegation while speaking on Anopa Nkomo on Accra based Kingdom FM.

“No credible member of the NDC or politician in this country will accept an offer to partner John Dramani Mahama as a running mate because they do not want to ruin their political career.

John Dramani Mahama will contest for the December elections as a Presidential Candidate and as a running mate of the party because he will not get any credible person to partner him. As we speak today, John Dramani Mahama is corrupt and nobody wants to associates himself with him to ruin his or her political career” he said.

He, however, argued that the opposition NDC has no member in the party that matches the caliber of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
