The soaring number of coronavirus cases in the country has called for strict adherence to guidelines and Fadda Dickson and Kennedy Osei are some popular personalities influencing attitudes.
Fadda Dickson Narh, managing director of the Despite Media Group and Kennedy Osei, CEO of the Despite Group of Companies, have been shaping mindsets and urging fans via their individual social media handles to follow guidelines to prevent catching the coronavirus.
In recent posts online, Fadda Dickson and Kennedy Osei shared images in Face masks along with inspiring messages.
The two prominent personalities of the Despite conglomerate have not just been all about the narrative, they have been backing their words with action by donating to support the national effort in the preventive and containment of the deadly novel COVID-19 that has claimed at least eight lives.
And the recent photos of the two in face masks emphasis the need for people to take the coronavirus seriously.
''I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars,'' Fadda Dickson shared a quote from Og Mandino while in the PPE.
In a bid to ensure that he stays safe from contracting the coronavirus, Kennedy Osei also stepped out wearing his designer face mask while reiterating that: ''FAITH is the only thing stronger than FEAR.''
Fans, including celebrity friends of the duo have reacted to the posts.
''Daddy I miss u,''queenafiaschwarzenegger wrote under Fadda Dickson’s post.
''Wow lovely ❤,'' agudea86, a fan wrote.
Hemaa_beauty reacted to Kennedy’s post saying: ''Off late all your nose masks matches with your costumes ☺️☺️..very nice .''
Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service on Sunday, April 12 confirmed 158 new cases that were detected over the weekend.
The country has so far recorded eight deaths from the 566 cases.
President Nana Akufo-Addo also announced an extension of the lockdown and ban on all public and social gatherings following the increased cases.
Also, so far, 10 out of 16 regions in Ghana have confirmed cases with the capital city, Accra, leading with 452 cases.
