Kidi apologises to Sarkodie after his old insulting tweets to him popped up
- Old tweets of Kidi taking a swipe at Sarkode has surfaced on the internet
- The three tweets were made in 2012, 2013, and 2014
- In one tweet, Kidi said he was disappointed that Sarkodie won an award at the BET instead of M.anifest
- In another, he said Sarkodie needed to be taught a lesson to shut up about being the only Ghanaian with a BET Award
- He has thus apologised to Sarkodie and his fans

There is a saying that the internet never forgets and can come back to haunt you; and that is what has happened to silky-voiced singer Kidi.
His old ‘insulting and hating’ tweets he made about Sarkodie some eight years ago have resurfaced on the internet and people have ciriticised him for them.
Kidi made the tweets in 2012, 2013, and 2014.

In the 2012 tweet, he wrote that Sarkodie had won a BET award adding that “we are dead”.
His expression is commonly used when someone feels another person would not make people rest by bragging about their achievements.

In the 2013 tweet, Kidi wrote that “If R2Bees wins this BET award, Sarkodie can shut up as the only Ghanaians artiste with a BET.”

In the 2014 tweet, the Odo singer was disgruntled that Sarkodie won another BET Award. He preferred M.anifest to win.

Many years down the line, these old tweets have popped up, a good reminder that the internet does not die.
He has thus apologised saying that he wrote things that he did not know would affect people negatively.
The singer explained that he was too young to understand what he was doing after he wrote such messages and asked for Ghanaians to forgive him.

In a recent report, Kidi was chased out of the studios of Accra FM where he had gone for an interview.
The host of the show, Nana Romeo, found Kidi’s behaviour very insulting and disrespectful, hence, cancelling the scheduled interview.
