My grandson caught Covid-19 after attending a party - Grandpa narrates

- A man with the Twitter name James Henderson has said that his 22-year-old grandson contracted Covid-19 after attending a party

- James added that people at the party never adhered to masking wearing and social distancing rule to protect themselves

- The grandpa said that his grandson and nine others were infected as he warned people who think they are stronger than the disease

An American man with the name James Henderson has lamented how his 22-year-old grandson caught coronavirus.

Grandpa James said the young man went to a party with about 30 people without observing any form of social distancing or wearing a mask.

The man said he and 9 other people came down with the disease. In his final words, he said that this is a warning to young people who think their immune system is stronger than the virus.

It was earlier reported that a Nigerian man with the Twitter name Oluwatimilehin narrated his experience as a coronavirus survivor.

He said coronavirus is indeed big as he appealed to the general public not to take it lightly, asking them to abide by all the protective measures.

Oluwatimilehin said that though he was asymptomatic all through, not many who were admitted were lucky.

He said that he has had to face the stigma regarding his health status, a thing he said he expected to happen.

The Covid-19 survivor, therefore, appreciated all the health officials, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, and the government for how they have handled the pandemic so far.

The Nigerian asked people not to put themselves at unnecessary risk in order not to overburden those who are at the frontline, ensuring everything is okay.

In other news, Oluwaseun Ayodeji Osowobi, another coronavirus survivor, shared a powerful message on the disease in a short video by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control.

In the short clip, the Covid-19 survivor told people that being negative does not give them the right to stigmatize those that are positive for the virus.

She said that when she tested positive, it was quite a shock and she had to struggle to accept her reality.

Oluwaseun added that despite the fact there is so much information on how to protect oneself, nothing quite prepares one for the emotional hit when one's test comes back positive.

She assured anyone who is admitted at one the isolation centres for coronavirus that they are getting the best of care. She said that if she could survive, they too can.
