The Electoral Commission,(EC) at a just-ended emergency IPAC meeting has stated that it will deploy registration officials to Senior High Schools to register final year students as part of the ongoing voters' ID registration exercise.
The exercise would commence from tomorrow Friday, July 10-11, 2020.
The decision is to allow for final year students who are believed to be of age to register to vote in the December 2020 polls.

As usual, Ghanaians have shared their thoughts on the registration of final year students in Senior High Schools Nationwide.

Meanwhile, the Mpraeso Senior High School in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region is the latest school to have been hit by the COVID-19 scare.
According to a Citi News report, nine suspected cases of the virus have been recorded at the school.
It has, however, not yet been confirmed if the students have the virus as they are still awaiting the test results.
