Mary Lucy Denise Henner is an American actress, producer, radio host, podcaster, and author who began her acting career in 1971. She was the best choice to play her character, and it is hard to see anyone else in that role.
She plays Aida Teagarden, Aurora's mother. Aida is a real estate agent who greatly disapproves of her daughter solving real murders.
4. Bruce Dawson as John Queensland
Bruce Dawson is the actor that plays John Queensland. John was a member of the Real Murders Club and even dated Aida Teagarden (Aurora's mother). However, he is one of the characters who left Aurora Teagarden.
The series offered a brief explanation for his departure. In the Last Scene Alive, the characters briefly mentioned that John left to be near his grandkids, and Aida could not go with him.
