Old photos of Captain Smart carrying cement bag on his head to support NPP gov't pop up

Old photos of Captain Smart carrying a cement bag on his head to support the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Cathedral project have resurfaced.

The photos popped up after the veteran radio personality was suspended by his radio station, Angel FM for reportedly speaking against the government.

In the photos, Captain Smart known in real life as Blessed Godsbrain Smart, was showing support to the ruling government's National Catherdral project.

He was seen carrying the bag of cement to the construction site for the planned cathedral.

The photos popped up following the radio presenter being taken off air for his utterances.

An official from the radio station explained that Smart was suspended for speaking against some politicians in the country.

The list included President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
