As much as Oh Paradise's music video appealed to the general populace, a videographer and an expert in cinematography, Siaw Kwadwo, has expressed his disappointment in how the video was shot, stating that a better job could have been done. Speaking to YEN.com.gh, he said:
I watched the video just hours ago, and I noticed soo many off things. The highest video quality was 4k, but what I saw wasn't 4k. Maybe it was shot in 4k, but the effects applied to it made the quality vanish. The lighting was off. The exposure was too much.
He also touched on the storytelling aspect of the video and was not too pleased with how it was done.
The videographer could have been creative in both the storyline and videography. Blacko grew up in Konongo Zongo, and the song was about his girlfriend back then. He should have made the video in a local setting to really honour her memory. He added.
