Nurses and Midwifery Council spends over GH¢500k on CCTV cameras
Over 500,000 cedis is alleged to have been spent by the Nurses and Midwifery Council on the procuring and installation of about 42 CCTV Cameras at its head office at Okponglo in Accra.

The development has seen a staffer of the council, Koffie Harrison petition the Health Ministry over the matter demanding an immediate investigation into the allegations as he has argued that management of the council intentionally bloated the cost of the procurement and installation of the 42 CCTV cameras.

A dealer in CCTV Cameras has thus revealed that the installation of 42 CCTV Cameras should not cost more than 100, 000 Ghana cedis stating that the said amount spent on the CCTV Cameras was bloated urging the Ministry of Health to seek a refund.
