Everyone understands that Wayoosi is older than his stature suggests, but how many expected him to be this old?

Well, the Kumawood star is 40, and will turn 41 on September 15.

Wayoosi, who is one of Ghana's most popular actors, caused a stir earlier this month with an undisclosed ailment that threatened to take his life.

The situation was so desperate that President John Mahama donated GH¢5,000towards his treatment.

The actor appears to have made a good recoveryand has even granted a series of interviews to the media.

Wayoosi was a painter before he ventured into acting.

He attended the College of Arts at The Cabin and Kings International School both in Kumasi.

He and his wife welcomed their first baby this year.
