Report says Confidence Baah may have died of asphyxiation

Pathologists who conducted the autopsy on the late Kessben FM journalist, Confidence K. Baah, say he may have died of asphyxiation by food particles, according to a report by Kumasi-based Ultimate FM.

Asphyxiation is a condition where the body either does not get enough oxygen to continue normal function or has too much carbon dioxide to function properly.

Without adequate oxygen, nerve cells in the brain die, YEN understands.

The report said samples of the internal organs and fluids of the deceased have been taken to Accra for further examination which will reveal the actual cause of his death.

Baah, a popular journalist, died on Sunday morning after being rushed to the Effiduase Government Hospital.

He was said to have been unresponsive when his aunt found him in bed.

His girlfriend who was with him before he died iis assisting the police in investigations.
