It seems as though with regards to Ghana's independence day parade, this year history almost repeated itself with the collapse of 4 students and other military personnel during today's parade.

According to popular reports four students who were participating in Ghana's 60th Independence Anniversary Parade had allegedly collapsed after suffering what some can only to have been a certain degree of heat stroke.

The person involved, according to a report by ultimatefmonline, persons who collapsed during the parade were said to have received medical attention from health officials stationed nearby at the Independence Square.

According to witnesses, those affected rested awhile before they were allowed resume the parade with their colleagues and fellow students.

Last year, a 27 year old teacher died during rehearsals for the 59th Independence Parade in Akyem Nkronso near Kyebi, in the Eastern region. The deceased was a national service personnel who complained of dizziness and hunger before his untimely demise.
