Instagram model is named world's most admirable little person but is too tall for the award

An Instagram model based in Houston, Texas has been named the world's most admirable little person by several online publications.

However, at 5ft4in (1.6meters) tall, Jaee McGee is too tall to accept the award. According to the Little People of America Organization, the official height for dwarfism is less than 4ft10in (1.4meters).

This is why McGee, whose Instagram username is babydoll_forbes, said she was surprised but nevertheless honored to receive the recognition.

The online publications made the error after looking at pictures of McGee that were taken from a higher angle, making her appear shorter than she is.

McGee is however not offended. In an interview, she said: "I'm pretty average size. I guess it's just the way I look in pictures."

She added that all publicity is good publicity. With more than 340,000 Instagram followers, she is pretty popular too.
