On-air-personality and comedienne, Afia Schwarzenegger refused attempts to settle their marital dispute at home, celebrity lawyer, Maurice Ampaw has revealed.
According to Lawyer Ampaw who is representing Schwarzenegger's husband, Lawrence Abrokwah, he tried to intervene but the comedienne did not agree.
Privately known as Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, Afia Schwarzenegger and Abrokwah got married in October, 2016 at a ceremony in South Africa.

But it seems the marriage was troubled as a sex tape emerged online, early this month, suggesting that Schwarzenegger was having an affair.
Suspecting that it was her husband that had leaked the video online, she caused his arrest at the Achimota Police station.
It was after his arrest that he called Lawyer Ampaw who advised a quiet settlement from public view.
But Schwarzenegger was bent on punishing Abrokwah and would not listen to any talks of amicable settlement.
"As someone with experience in such matters, I advised that we settled the matter out of the public domain but Afia Schwarzenegger told me that she won't agree and she was only being gentle because of the respect she had for me", Lawyer Ampaw said in an interview on Joy FM's Weekend City Show on Saturday.

The husband has subsequently been charged for circulating the nude video with the first hearing, originally scheduled for Wednesday September 20, getting adjourned to Monday, September 25.
Lawyer Ampaw's revelation does not come as a surprise as Abrokwah who admits recording the video but denies leaking it, does not seem to favour a divorce.
Days after the news broke, he is reported to have still professed love for his wife, saying:
“The love cannot just go away like that because I truly love Afia 100 percent, and thus would have preferred a quite settlement like nothing happened.
