Lady Adorns Dead Father's Grave With Graduation Gown To Celebrate Her Success: "I Did It"

  • She would have loved for her father to attend her graduation, but he is six feet under
  • To include him in celebrating the milestone, Towela Towie Ngwira headed to the cemetery after graduation to pay tribute to the departed man
  • Photos showed her kneeling beside her late father's grave, her graduation cap and gown on his tombstone

A woman who recently graduated from the university figured the celebration would not be complete without her visiting one important person: her dad.

The problem is that her dad is no longer alive, so she was forced to visit his grave while fully dressed in the graduation gown.

"Your princess did it"

Towela Towie Ngwira shared photos of herself in the cemetery, standing beside her father's resting place with her graduation cap on top of the tombstone.

In one of the photos, she is pictured kneeling humbly in honour of the man who did not live long enough to see her achieve the commendable milestone.

From the emotional post, it was evident that Towela would have given everything to have her father alive to watch her graduate, but fate had different ideas.

"Hey, papa. Your princess did it. I hope I made you proud. I love and miss you so much," she captioned the photos.

The post left most of her followers feeling emotional even as they congratulated her for her academic achievement.

Elsewhere, another woman visited her late mother's grave, where she recorded a video of the touching moment.

In the short clip, the lady was spotted using water and detergent to wash the grave to make it clean.

The video touched many people on social media, with most taking to the comments section to share how they also lost loved ones.
