Traffic Cop Praised For Giving Ride To Little Boy On His Police Bike: "Kind Gesture"

The boy participated in Embu Endowment Fund Marathon

A young boy, however, bravely participated in the University of Embu Endowment Fund Marathon (5KM), the brainchild of Embu University to support education, but along the way he got tired, and it showed.

Officer Githui to the rescue

Along came traffic officer Githui from the Embu Traffic Police Base, who gave him a ride to the finish line.

His actions were hailed by everyone who saw their photo online.

"Good job officer Githui.Humanity and kindness of our cop Githui giving this boy a ride after he got tired from running 5k in Embu. God bless you," read a post from Cops Kenya.

Momo vendor jailed for impersonating police commander

In a separate story, YEN.com.gh reported that a mobile money merchant was jailed after pretending to be the Oti Regional Police Commander to release a friend in police custody.

The merchant was jailed for six months in prison with hard labour because of his false pretence attempt.

The merchant's friend had been arrested for the possession of narcotic substances at Teshie Bush Road.
