A poor Kenyan woman who decided to gift a stranger the only GH₵‎ 1.50p that she had so that he could buy some lunch is now rejoicing after Kenyans contributed GH₵‎ 14,814 to help her and her family.

The mother was on her way home when Apostle Dan Wema approached her to test her kindness; he asked her to give him some money so that he could buy some lunch.

In the viral TikTok video, Wema, who does social tests, also posed as a hungry man who needed some help with some lunch money.

The woman decided to give him the only 20 bob that she had, saying though she did not know where her family's next meal would come from, she was ready to help.

The apostle would then surprise the kind-hearted woman with GH₵‎148 after she gave up her GH₵‎ 1.50p to help.

"Are you serious? Please let this not be a joke that you are playing," the woman told the apostle while breaking into tears after receiving the cash.

Kenyans raise GH₵‎14k for woman

Days after the video emerged, Kenyans have now contributed 100 times the money that the lady gave up in the social test which proved she is a kind-hearted woman.

"I want to thank everyone who contributed money for me. I am so thankful, and may God help you in everything you do," she said when she was informed Kenyans contributed towards the cash.

Wema also showed his fans the woman and her family's humble home and their kids, who also need school fees.

In other news, YEN.com.gh reported that popular Ghanaian content creator Official Starter had taken the initiative to raise funds in support of the market women he joyously dances with.
