Following the court ruling in his favor against his wife, Nii Odartey Lamptey has revealed how hard he was hit with the revelation that the children he thought were his were not.

The Ghanaian footballer, in 2013 got news that his three children with his now ex-wife, Gloria, fathered by another man.
A DNA test, which the husband ordered after his discovered supposed infidelity of his wife, showed that the children were indeed not his.
YEN earlier reported that a court granted relief to Lamptey in a court case that officially annulled his marriage to his current wife and stop his wife from claiming 50% of his assets.
The ex-Ghana international has revealed in an interview with StarrSportsGH.com that he is ready to move on from the “embarrassing” situation.

Today the divorce has been granted and that burden that was on me is gone. Now, I’m a free and happy man, ready to start life again,” Lamptey said.
The sports personality revealed that he would be focused on building his relationship with his new partner, Ruweida Yakubu, who is an actress and former Ghana’s Most Beautiful finalist.
Lamptey, with his new partner, have two children and the footballer, who YEN earlier reported had contemplated suicide, is surely dedicated to his news family.
“I never thought I could have the courage to withstand this”, Lamptey said of the court case with his ex-wife, Gloria Ofosu that dragged over two years.
