The Red Devils went behind in the first half after Josko Gvardiol's header but produced a sensational comeback late in the game.
Amad Diallo was the hero for the visitors as he won the penalty for Bruno Fernandes to score and then scored a superb winner.
De Gea trolls Man City
Shortly after Manchester United secured the big win, de Gea took to social media to troll Man City.
The Man United legend has reacted to the victory with a cheeky message.
"I've seen this movie before," he wrote on X.
De Gea also commented on Man United's Instagram post with "same story."
Josko Gvardiol put the hosts ahead in the first half before Amad Diallo inspired the visitors to a superb comeback win.
Bruno Fernandes converted the penalty after Amad was fouled before the Ivorian scored an excellent winner late in the game. This is Ruben Amorim's second win over Pep Guardiola's Man City in a space of six weeks, per Manchester Evening News.
