YEN.com.gh brings you some Ghanaians you probably didn’t know were related.
1. Asamoah Gyan and Baffuor Gyan
Baffuor Gyan is Asamoah Gyan’s senior brother.
Baffuor Gyan, who previously played for Ghana’s Black Stars, plies his trade with Al-Nasr Benghazi in Libya.
Asamoah Gyan is presently the captain of the Black Stars.
He plays for Kayserispor in Turkey.
2. Kwasi Kyei Darkwah and Kwabena Okyere Darko
Popularly referred to as KKD, Kwasi Kyei Darkwah is a broadcaster, Master of Ceremonies and a media, culture and tourism expert.
He is an uncle to Kwabena Okyere Darko (KOD), who works with the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) group.
3. Deborah Vanessa and One Luv Kubolor
Deborah Owusu-Bonsu is a Ghanaian television presenter and model.
She is currently a presenter at E Tv Ghana.
Her brother, Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu, known by his stage name Wanlov the Kubolor, is a Ghanaian-Romanian musician, film director and cultural icon.
4. Akosua Agyapong and Stephanie Benson
Stephanie Benson is also known as Princess Akua Ohenewaa Asieanem.
She is an international jazz musician based in the United Kingdom (UK).
Stephanie is Akosua Agyapong’s sister.
Akosua is a Ghanaian female high-life artiste and television personality.
5. Efya and Nana Adwoa Awindor
Jane Awindor, also known as Efya, is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and actress.
She is the daughter of Nana Adwoa Awindor, a filmmaker and celebrity hostess.
6. Bradez and Okyeame Kwame
Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame, is a Ghanaian musician, songwriter, creative director and entrepreneur.
He is nicknamed the “Rap Doctor”.
His two younger brothers, Kwaku Nsiah Boamah nicknamed "Stone" and Kwaku Nsiah Amankwah nicknamed "Kunta Kinte", also perform as the hiplife duo "Bradez".
7. Tsatsu Tsikata and M.anifest
Tsatsu Tsikata is a prominent Ghanaian academician and lawyer.
He was a former Chief Executive of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.
His son, M.anifest, born Kwame Ametepee Tsikata, is a Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter.
