Ebony’s friend Franky Kuri spoke highly of Afia Schwar before her death

Franklina Nkansah, the friend of dancehall diva Ebony Reigns who died together with her in the tragic accident last Thursday had so much respect for comedienne Afia Schwarzenegger.

Franky Kuri, as she was popularly referred to, was operating a YouTube channel where she presented entertainment news, YEN.com.gh gathered.

In one of the episodes she posted few weeks before the accident, Franky made very complimentary remarks about Afia Schwar.

In the video, she chose the comedienne as the 'Celebrity Picture of the Week' and commended her for being able to overcome all the backlash over the cheating video scandal that went viral, and for empowering women against Domestic Violence.

Afia Schwarzenegger is someone after all the brouhaha she went on in this country she still stood strong against domestic violence.

“She fought for what she believed in. She has children and thinks shouldn’t suffer consequences due to broken homes.

“She still won the television female entertainment show host of the year award at the RTP Awards Ceremony after all the marital issues,” Franky Kuri is heard saying in the video.

Ebony and Franky died along with a soldier, Francis Atsu Vondee while returning from Sunyani where the singer had visited her mother.

Their car, is reported to have collided with a VIP bus around Mankranso on the Sunyani-Kumasi Highway at about 10:30pm.

Afia Schwar, who is known to have been close to Ebony, was one of the first persons to confirm that Franky Kuri was in the car.
