Jayee University College was established as a secretarial school called Jayee Secretarial School. It started with eight students in YMCA, Adabraka, in 1988. It was relocated to the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra after the student population grew. Today, the university college offers diploma and degree programmes.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

In 2004, Jayee University College was affiliated with the University of Education, Winneba. Initially, the institution was accredited by the National Accreditation Board to run three-year Advanced Diploma in Journalism and Business Administration courses. In 2008, the National Accreditation Board re-accredited Jayee to run four-year degree programmes.
