Jayee University College was established as a secretarial school called Jayee Secretarial School. It started with eight students in the YMCA, Adabraka, in 1988. It was relocated to the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra after the student population grew. Today, the university college offers diploma, degree, and certificate programmes.
