- A group of people in the Ashanti region have issued a warning to Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah to refrain from prophesying about the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
- They stated that the Asantehene has powerful priests at his beck and call and for that reason he doesn't need the man of God
- They added that Owusu Bempah will be banned from the Ashanti region if he dares to prophecy about the king
A pressure group in the Ashanti region, the Ashanti Youth Association (AYA), has warned Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah against prophecies about the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
YEN.com.gh understands that AYA has declared its intent to ban him from the Ashanti region if he dares to prophesy about the king.
The group argued that the king has powerful priests who work for him, and for that reason, Owusu Bempah’s prophecies are not needed.
One of AYA’s leading members, Osei Kofi, explained that members of AYA would not take it lightly if the man of God decides to prophesy about the Ashanti monarch.
“Rev. Bempah is causing unnecessary fear and panic with his doom prophesies and we shall not allow him to do that to Otumfuo.
“What powers does he possess to prophesy about Otumfuo? If he prophesied about Otumfuo again, we shall deal with him,” he declared.
Owusu Bempah, who is the leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, gave a number of prophecies on Monday, December 31, 2019.
He reportedly claimed a number of prominent people would lose their lives, and this did not do well with a cross-section of Ghanaians.
Osei Kofi said it is about time the security agencies pounced on some pastors for taking the citizenry for a ride.
