Two dead, others severely injured in gory accident
Two people have been reported dead with many others injured and in critical conditions in a gory accident at Gomoa Okyereko Junction on the Kasoa-Cape Coast highway in the Central Region.
The accident involved a Mercedes Benz with the registration number, GE 1781-Y, which was heading from Tema Harbour to Elmina.
The vehicle veered off its lane and collided with a Kia truck with the registration number, GN 993-11, which was also heading towards Accra from Winneba.

Speaking in an interview with Adom News, the Winneba Municipal Station Fire Officer, SO1 Daniel Asare, explained that the cause of the accident is unknown aside the collision of Benz truck which was carting fresh fish.
However, the Dominase District Police Commander, DSP Paul Ankan, expressed his displeasure with the frequent accidents on the road.
“Drivers should tell us the kind of roads they want because as it stands now when roads are bad, they complain and when they are good too, they kill innocent people,”DSP Ankan noted.
