Two senior lecturers sacked at UEW

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba (UEW), Reverend Father Prof Anthony Afful-Broni, has dimissed two senior lecturers from the institution.

The two include; Professor Ephraim Avea Nsoh, Principal of the College of Languages Education at Ajumako and Dr. Frimpong Kakyire Duku who is the local President of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG).

Excerpts of the letter of dismissal in respect of Dr. Duku said, he did not exhaust the internal structures of the University for settling disputes before proceeding to court, and used the institutional time to go to court without seeking permission.

According to the letter, his behaviour and actions constituted misconduct and insubordination which brought the name of the University into disrepute.
