We will shoot and kill NDC ballot box thieves - NPP communicator
A member of the communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region, Boateng Duncan, has called for President Akufo-Addo to pass a decree on ballot boxes.
Boateng Duncan popularly as Bombay, is advocating for a shoot to kill during 2020 general elections for ballot box snatchers to serve as a deterrent to those who feel they can intimidate others with their vigilante groups and get away with it.
Commenting on the disbandment of vigilante groups on Kumasi-based Abusua Fm’s, he said he does not see the reason why police and other security agencies fail to shoot to kill people who snatch ballot boxes and misbehave during elections.

“The President should decree so that the so-called ballot box snatchers within the NDC planning to foment trouble, if they venture into a polling station to engage in such an act we will shoot and kill them in 2020,” he said.
The NPP activist believes the NDC has planned to cause confusion during 2020 elections because the party is desperate for power and believes it is the only way that can smoothen its path to victory.
“ The Ghana Police service and other security agencies shouldn’t treat ballot box snatcher with kid’s gloves. Ballot box snatchers must be shot and killed because NDC is behind them,” he said.
