Liverpool and Man United wage list: De Gea, Salah top earn bigger from both ends

Liverpool and Manchester United's enviable beautiful history in the Premier League cannot be underestimated so their rivalry, with latest reports revealing the huge wages earned by players from the two respective sides.

United were the darling image of the EPL but a sudden turn of event has seen Liverpool take the frontline from the Red Devils in one of the most astonishing resurgences football can ever see under Jurgen Klopp.

But how much do Liverpool and United players earn as wages?

According to Spotrac findings, David de Gea is the highest-earner in United squad with a staggering £375,000-a-week, while Mo Salah pockets £200,000-a-week, sealing him the highest paid Liverpool player.

Newly crowned African football king, Sadio Mane is on £100,000-a-week wage despite being the most prolific and indispensable player in Klopp's squad.

Interestingly, Ashley Young, Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata who are diminishing in brilliance at Old Trafford are all on high payroll than the Senegalese star.

In the same turn, Jesse Lingard who has not recorded any goal for United this season earns a whopping £75k-a-week wage above the trio of Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Divock Origi who have all been sensational for Liverpool.

Old Trafford, in summation, spend £141,435,000 on wages while at Liverpool on spend £113,256,000. on their players.
