Following the pomp and pageantry and display of power and wealth that characterized the plush wedding between the General Manager of Despite Media, Kennedy Asante Osei and Tracy Ameyaw, many people touted as the most expensive wedding yet in Ghana.

Kennedy Osei also happens to be the first son of Ghanaian business titan Osei Kwame Despite.

However, a social media user begs to differ on that tag and has shown in videos, a wedding believed to be the most expensive to have ever happened in Ghana.

According to an Instagram page by name Daily Celebrities News, a wedding that took place on July 27, 2019, was and still is the biggest wedding to be staged in Ghana.

In narrating happenings, the social media user indicated that among other things, the event was like a weekend getaway where guests were treated to an awesome experience.

The nuptial which took place at the plush Royal Senchi, saw award-winning TV star Nana Aba Anamaoh and colleague Serwaa Amihere serve as emcees on the day.

Award-winning make-up artist Reggies_makeovers who won the Makeup Artist of the Year 2019, took care of the makeup needs of Dela, the bride.

A touch of class was added to the arrival of the bridal train as the couple opted for chariots to convey them to the wedding grounds.

The huge team of groomsmen and bridesmaids showed off their dancing skills and money power as they splashed wads of cash on the couple on the dancefloor.

As the celebration was ongoing in the packed makeshift venue at Royal Senchi, the groom, Henry, pulled a surprise by gifting his wife a brand new 2018 Maserati car for sticking with him in the times that he had nothing.

More videos on the Instagram page are a clear indication that Hendee19 gave Kency 2020 a run for their money.
