Tracy Sarkcess speaks about family pressure before marrying Sarkodie

Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of Ghana's highest rapper, Sarkodie, has finally dropped details about how she was pressured by her family after deciding to marry the Tema-based rapper.

According to Tracy, her family did not understand why a university girl like her would decide to marry a rapper.

Tracy made this stunning revelation this during a Q and A session with her fans Twitter on Tuesday, April 14, 2020.

Hello queen T…did you ever face any challenges in your relationship from your family? Like y3mp3 daakye 3b3y3 yie Bia ooo,” a fan asked.

In answering the fan, Tracy wrote:

Yes paaaa!!! My family didn’t understand why a “University girl” like me would date a rapper. And there was the perception that rappers are womanisers.”

Tracey then stated that she defended her love because that is what she wanted.

But I had to stand my ground. I was the one in the relationship not them so wasn’t going to let them choose for me.

Before Tracy and Sarkodie got married two years ago, they had already been blessed with a daughter, Titi.

YEN.com.gh previously reported a story of Sarkodie and his daughter Titi sharing a fun moment together.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Titi was captured dancing as if dancing was her career, while her father rapped.

The girl, obviously very happy about what she was doing, jumped up and down.

At a point, Titi made her father’s favourite dance moves where he hold his fist in the air and brings them down with the beat.
