According to reports making rounds on social media, a substance suspected to be marijuana (weed) was found on him after his arrest.

As earlier reported by YEN.com.gh, Owusu Agyei was arrested on the morning of Tuesday, June 9, 2020, while having an interview with a journalist.

His arrest followed a recent video of blasting the EC boss for the controversial compilation of a new voters' register.

The video which was culled from a live video on a Facebook account called NDC TV on Sunday, June 7, 2020, had Owusu Agyei stating that the EC boss was going to die should she go ahead with the compilation.

He was emphatic in his threat saying Mrs Mensa would die at midday without him stating the specific day.

Owusu Agyei further issued threats to Akufo-Addo and his family that blood will just like the June 4 revolution but it will be the blood of the 'Akyem mafia' this time.

He even drew in Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong into his submission at a point and made some claims about him.

But in a swift response, Ken Agyapong denied the video on Monday, June 8, 2020, and promised to get him arrested.

True to the MP's promise, Prophet Owusu Agyei has been arrested by operatives of the National Security.

After his arrest, a video has popped up on social media with Owusu Agyei holding the suspected weed in his hands.

Meanwhile, Kennedy Agyapong has accused Cecilia Marfo of killing a five-year-old boy as he continues his exposé on pastors.

According to him, the boy was ill and taken to Marfo’s church to heal her.
