Mr Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has admitted that the performance of the National Democratic Congress in the 2020 general election must be applauded.
The New Patriotic Party stalwart indicated that he was personally proud of the NDC and rightly so because they had managed to win back a number of seats in parliament.
Gabby Otchere-Darko went on to indicate that the opposition party had every right to be proud of themselves for their exceptional performance, especially in the parliamentary election.
He went on to however reveal that contrary to claims being made by the opposition, NPP has won majority in parliament and that Nana Akufo-Addo is in the lead as far as the presidential poll is concerned.
The NPP man took to Facebook and wrote: "When all is said and done, NDC has every reason to be proud of what they have achieved in these elections. You may not have flipped parliament and won the presidency but you’ve done very well."
Gabby Otchere-Darko earlier took to his social media handle to indicate that the next Ghanaian government would be formed by the New Patriotic Party.
In a post sighted on the Facebook page of Mr Otchere-Darko, he opined that the next Speaker of Parliament would be selected by an NPP government.
He added that the 2020 presidential election would not go into a second round as a winner has already emerged.
Gabby said added that his projection was coming from certified results from the polling stations which he was privy to.
His post read: "My projection: NPP will decide on the next Speaker of Parliament and First Deputy Speaker. An NPP President will form the next government and there shall be no run-off. So says the certified data from the polling stations."
