NDC's Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin named as Speaker of 8th parliament
The former Member of parliament for the Nadowli-Kaleo constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress, Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin has been named as the speaker of parliament
Alban Kingsford Sumani Bagbin was the Second deputy speaker of the 7th Parliament of the fourth republic.
He represented his constituency right from the first parliament to the seventh parliament in the fouth republic.
He was voted for in the fill the speakership position by the yet to be sworn in members of the eight parliament.
He was the Minister for Health in the Ghana government until February 2013 when Hanny-Sherry Ayittey took over the position.
