The late start of what was supposed to be an wonderful event led African music icon Freddy Meiwy to entertain the few people left at Kempinski hotel.
The performer mounted the stage at 1am, as part of the programme lineup for the Exclusive Man of the Year (EMY) award, a time at which most of the audience had left the premises.

One could count the number of people left, as took to the stage, but that didn’t deter him, as he treated the audience to song upon song for about an hour.
Other artistes such as Osibisa, Efya and Irene Logan took turns to dish out good music to the audience.
Various people won awards, with the decisive one, the ultimate man of the year award going to Dr. Kwabena Duffour, Chairman of Hoda Group.
