All degrees of Dr. Caleb Afaglo are fake - SSNIT confirms after sacking IT boss

The degrees held by former Manager of Management Information Systems (MIS) at the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Dr. Caleb Afaglo are all fake as according to a release by the trust on Wednesday, 30 August.

The new board of directors and management of SSNIT stated that they had received evidence to the effect and thus terminated the contract of Dr. Caleb Afaglo.

According to a release by the board, their private investigations had revealed that all the qualifications presented by the former MIS Manager when he applied for the job in 2015 were not legitimate.

Caleb Afaglo was earlier interdicted by SSNIT as the Economic Organized Crimes Office (EOCO) ran investigations into his activities.

Mr. Afaglo’s CV indicates that he acquired his BSC and MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a PHD from the Kennedy Western University, which was an affiliate of the University of Cincinnati until it was closed down in 2011.

However, the Management of SSNIT on Wednesday, said it is fully convinced the degrees are fake and has therefore taken the decision to sack Mr. Afaglo.
