Nana Agyenim dismisses alleged Igbo King incident

Nana Agyenim Boateng also dismissed claims that Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu was denied the chance to interact with the Asantehene.

He stated that the Igbo King in Ghana bowed before the Ashanti Kingdom ruler to show respect and that he had visited the palace on several occasions in the past.

He claimed that Otumfuo Osei Tutu II wanted to shake hands with Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu when he showed up to show his respect at the Manhyia Palace.

"This is not the first time he has come to visit the King. He took off his cap and bowed before Otumfuo and left. He had to travel to America on that day, so he left. We later saw on social media that the Asantehene had sacked the Igbo chief, which is not true."

Nana Agyenim Boateng noted that the claims about the Igbo King being embarrassed were false information being peddled in the media space.
