In July, Prophet Roja warned of impending doom for the prominent chief, claiming he had seen his demise in a vision.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, he said three prominent people were destined to die in the kingdom, with two having already passed.

"I see three trees in Mampongteng. Two of those have been uprooted. They're not broken but completely uprooted. Of the two, one is the Mapongtenghemaa; she's no longer alive. A linguist's tree has also been uprooted,” he said.

"Honestly, the Mampongtenghene’s decision to take Prophet Roja to court marks a big and very important turning point in how society is beginning to handle this whole new canker of doom prophecies. I am therefore of the strong opinion that this move will send a clear message that spiritual claims, especially those made publicly, come with responsibility," he said.
Osei Kofi added, "While freedom of religion is important, freedom of speech must also respect the dignity, peace of mind, and reputation of others. As the prophecy was made on live radio and specifically mentioned the chief’s death, then the legal action is not only understandable but necessary to set a precedent. It’s about drawing a line between prophecy and public fear."
