A Nigerian lady's attempt to steal in a compound ended on a bad note as she was caught in the act and disgraced.

The incident, which happened in the Gbagada area of Lagos, was caught on camera and stirred reactions online.

A lady, who recorded the video, said she was in her shop when she had cries from inside the compound from a female occupant.

On getting to where the cry was coming from, she found out that a strange lady was strangling her neighbor in her apartment and then alarm was raised.

In the clip, neighbors tried to interrogate the thief, just as the recorder warned people to desist from engaging in such acts and be contented.

Meanwhile, Yen.com.gh previously reported that a salesperson facing charges after stealing GH60,502 from her workplace.

Felicia Baidoo Tei failed to account for the goods sold by the Nestle Ghana Limited products that her employer had ordered her to distribute to their clients.

She came before Mrs. Evelyn Asamoah's circuit court in Accra, receiving a GHC 3,000 penalty unit ($36,000) fine. If Tei cannot pay the fine, she will be sentenced to five months of hard labor.
