Ghanaians are commenting on the video of the lovely moment a man popped the question to a soon-to-be graduating Senior Secondary School (SHS) student as soon as she finished her final exams as a West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) candidate.

In the video making rounds on social media, the lady could be seen with her boyfriend, a young man dressed in a dark outfit, and the two were interacting normally, like a typical young couple does.

The man, still in the school premises, had brought her a gift in celebration of her exams' completion. Moments later, the man went on one knee before the student, surrounded by classmates and family members.

As the man proposed, the lady could not contain her joy, and what followed was a warm hug. The student's sister, visibly emotional, was seen clapping and expressing joy, while other onlookers captured the moment on their phones.

The proposal comes after the just-concluded WASSCE, an examination that determines eligibility for higher education in Ghana and beyond.

In other news, the graduating students of Wesley Girls' High School marked the end of their examinations in a synchronised fashion.

In a video spotted online, the students, dressed in their uniforms, gathered together in the school courtyard and cheered, danced, and chanted in unison.
