Ernest Ofori Sarpong, the founder of Special Group of Companies, shared details about his cars and how he became a lover of luxurious vehicles.

The Ghanaian businessman indicated that his love for luxurious cars can be traced to when he started moving with his bosom friend, Osei Kwame Despite.

In a video on X, Ernest Ofori Sarpong said that his friend's love for cars rubbed off on him.

He indicated that there is a good feeling attached to driving good cars and does not regret loving them.

"Despite loves cars, it probably started when I met him. Cars are nice, and it feels good to drive in good cars."

When asked if he had a favourite, the 60-year-old wealthy man indicated that he does not have a favourite but prefers Bentleys.

"I don't have one particular car as a favourite. I like Bentleys. The Bentayga is a nice car."

When asked the number of cars he owned, the businessman said he could not readily tell, but later gave a number.

"I have about 20 personal cars."

Ernest Ofori Sarpong indicated that he bought his first car when he was either 21 years old or 22 years old. He indicated that he bought the car from his elder brother.

"My first car was a Datsun Laurel. I bought it from my elder brother. He had bought a new car and sold the Datsun Laurel to me."

Meanwhile, Osei Kwame Despite has praised his best friend, Ernest Ofori Sarpong, on his momentous 60th birthday.

In a video message, Despite shared details of their 40-year bond, highlighting Sarpong's immense support.
