Man Narrates Discovering Wife of 15 Years Secretly Had 2nd Husband for 7 Years: "Smart Woman"

A Kenyan man identified as Abraha Ambani has elicited mixed after disclosing his wife was married to him and another man.

Cheating wife exposed

Speaking recently to Lulu Hassan on Shajara na Lulu segment, Ambani said he married his wife when he was 25 in a traditional wedding.

"I paid her dowry, and we moved to Nairobi. She was 20 years by then, and in 2009, we were blessed with a daughter..."

The soft-spoken man said his wife left him with their daughter when she was three months old and never returned.

"It was a hard time, and I took juice and gave it to her because my wife was nowhere to be seen," he narrated.

Ambani said his wife returned the next day, and moved to another location, and after a few years of happiness, his wife's behaviour changed.

"She asked me to pay for her fare to Eldoret little did I know she was going for an introduction ceremony at her other husband's home. She was two months pregnant with their second child," he narrated.

She returned to Nairobi, and Ambani said, one day, his wife lied she was going to plait three people in a different location, and he drove her there. The loving husband said he was understanding and didn't inquire more about his wife's clients.

"I called her, but she never picked up, and at some point, she switched off her phone. There is a time I called her 90 times, but she responded on the third day and told me she hadn't seen my missed calls, and I just kept quiet," he recalled.

Time passed and Ambani took his wife to hospital for delivery and took the kid's birth notification, but hell broke loose after three months when he wanted to go pick the birth certificate.

"The birth notification was missing though I had a photocopy. I took her ID and mine and went and picked the birth certificate," he recalled.

The Kenyan man said they moved to another location again, and that was when he realised his wife had been cheating.

"One day, I cleaned her bags and got the birth notification that had been missing for five years. I discovered the name of my second kid had been changed in the birth certificate and found an ID of her other husband," he said.

She had a rented house for three years next to where we were living so that they could meet regularly.

One day, Ambani said his eldest daughter told him about her mum's affair, and he went on Facebook and search for the guy, and I DMed him.

"I asked him if he knew someone by the name so and so (my wife) and to my surprise, he told me she was his wife," he said.
"I later told him she was my wife and sent him a photo of our two kids, but he said the youngest was his."

Ambani went ahead to prove the second child was his, leaving the man shocked.

"He told me they had been dating since early 2017, and my wife had told him she was single," he said.

The father of two then met a pastor who officiated Ambani's wife and her other husband's wedding and told him the two were a couple.

The two men accepted the woman played them, and Ambani said he pays his kids' fees directly to their school, and the other man sends money to their wife.

"The other man and I talk, and we are planning to meet and solve this matter," he said.

He added:

"My wife ran away, and I went to her parents' home, and I was advised to separate from her," he said.

Ambani said he shares his story to encourage other men in situations such like his to speak up and get help.

Man discovers wife is cheating

Elsewhere, YEN.com.gh reported that a broke woman who turned to sponsors to get extra cash had to come clean after her lover discovered two boxes of top-quality eggs in her flat amid an ongoing shortage of the valued product in the country.

While the woman's boyfriend, a broke university student and egg fanatic, had been struggling to buy the eggs, he was shocked to find large, brown-coloured native eggs at his girlfriend's home.
