What Mrs Adu-Amanfoh Said After the Assault

Following the 2023 assault, Mrs Adu-Amanfoh, who looked visibly distraught, recounted the harrowing experience in an interview with Kumasi-based Luv FM.

She described how a black Land Cruiser intercepted her car, and armed men ordered her out before forcefully pushing her to the ground.

"Initially, I didn't know who they were. The four men were all armed, wearing desert security camouflage uniforms and face masks. They carried pistols and a rifle. It was only when Kenneth stepped out that I recognised him as my husband," she told Luv FM.
"They ordered me to get out of the car. When I did, one of the armed men sat in my car and ordered the children to get out, but they refused. He told them to get into the Land Cruiser, but they declined and began crying," she further explained.

An eyewitness to the incident, Kwame Fosu Appiah, expressed his disapproval of Adu-Amanfoh's alleged actions.

"What he did to the children was wrong. The children were shocked. They pushed one of the children, and she fell, dropping her Bible to the ground," he said.
"One of the children, the boy, started running while the girl was crying out for help. I had to intervene. I told him what he was doing was wrong. I asked him: if someone filmed you and put it on social media, what would you do?" he told Luv FM.
