Yakubu, however, attributed her decision to return to the pitch just a month after giving birth to her second child to the passion she has for the game, revealing she did not want to miss the league.

''I want to play football to the highest level hence I need someone to manage me and help me achieve my dream because I want to do great things in Football,'' she told Ohene-Bampoe Brenya of Happy Sports.

The former student of TI Ahmadiyya Senior High School indicated she is always happy seeing her kids at the park when she is playing.

''They are always cheering me up, which inspires and encourages me to do more,'' she said.

Despite her difficulty in combining her career with raising two kids, Yakubu is doing pretty well on and off the field.

She scored two goals for her side in the Ghana Women's Premier League matchday in a game against Fabulous Ladies.
