Supercomputer backs Arsenal to win Premier League
The Gunners begin their title defence against newly promoted Coventry City on Friday, August 21, in what will be their first attempt to retain the league crown since their previous title defence 22 years ago.
Arteta also enters the season with an important advantage. The Spaniard is now the Premier League's longest-serving manager, while nine clubs have appointed new coaches ahead of the campaign, as noted by DAZN.
The North London club have strengthened significantly during the summer. Bruno Guimarães arrived from Newcastle United for £75 million, while defender Piero Hincapié joined from Bayer Leverkusen permanently.
Arsenal have also added winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge and goalkeeper Illan Meslier, giving Arteta greater depth as he attempts to build on last season's success.
Which teams have been tipped to challenge Arsenal
Manchester City remain their closest challengers in the supercomputer's forecast.
Enzo Maresca has taken over at the Etihad and has already overseen major spending, including the £116 million arrival of midfielder Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest.

Teenage winger Jeremy Monga has also joined from Leicester City, while City have agreed a deal for Marseille goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.
Meanwhile, Liverpool and Manchester United have both been given a 12% chance of winning the title.
The Reds have appointed former Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola to replace Arne Slot and strengthened with Rennes defender Jérémy Jacquet and Osasuna winger Víctor Muñoz.
According to Sky Sports, Ronald Araujo has also arrived from Barcelona on loan with an option to buy.
United, meanwhile, are under Michael Carrick and have impressed during pre-season, remaining unbeaten against Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid. Their only defeat came against Wrexham.
With Arsenal and City separated by just seven percentage points, the prediction suggests another tight title race could be in store.
