Supercomputer Predicts Who Will Win 2024/2025 Premier League Season
- Arsenal could be in for another season of disappointment after a supercomputer predicted how the Premier League table will look like
- The Gunners have finished second twice in a row in a time where Manchester City became the first side to win four successive titles
- The new season starts this Friday with Manchester United taking on Fulham before Chelsea entertains Manchester City on Sunday
A supercomputer has predicted how the Premier League table would look at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
The new season gets underway this Friday when Fulham travel North to play Manchester United at Old Trafford.
It is the first time in the league's history that a side is heading into the new season, having won four of the last titles. Manchester City defied all the odds last season to make unprecedented history.
Supercomputer predicts Premier League winner
Pep Guardiola's side has once again been primed to defend its title successfully by Opta Analyst's supercomputer. The Citizens have brought in Savio from Girona and sold Julian Alvarez to Atletico Madrid.
If the supercomputer's predictions are anything to go by, Arsenal are headed for another season of disappointment. They have been placed second once more after back-to-back near misses. Mikel Arteta has shored up his defence by adding Euro 2024 star Riccardo Calafiori.
Liverpool, meanwhile, have been placed third in the predictions for the first season of the post-Jurgen Klopp era. The Reds, under Arne Slot, are the only side yet to make a statement side in the division.
Where will Chelsea, Manchester United finish on the table?
Chelsea, who are also under a new manager, are expected to finish fourth after yet another busy window by the Todd Boehly-led club. Manchester United, despite all the new signings, have only been placed in sixth place behind Newcastle United and just in front of Tottenham Hotpsur.
Last season's surprise package, Aston Villa, are eighth despite the robust recruitment undertaken over the summer.
On the other end, all the new teams, Leicester City, Southampton and Ipswich, are expected to be relegated at the end of the season.
Paul Scholes predicts EPL winner
YEN.com.gh has also reported that Paul Scholes has predicted the team that can stop Manchester City from winning another title.
Guardiola's charges head into the new season as favourites once again to win a fifth championship in a row.
Manchester United legend Scholes, however, believes that it will be a close race between City and Arsenal.
