Australian soccer player Samantha May Kerr and her pretty American girlfriend, Kristen Anne Mewis, are officially engaged.

Kerr, who plays for FA Women's Super League club Chelsea, made the heartwarming announcement earlier this month.

Kerr, a forward for the Australian women's national team, went on one knee to propose to her long-time bae.

Emotions overwhelmed Kristie as she looked happy by the proposal from her 30-year-old lover.

In another picture, Kerr, who wore nice-looking sunglasses like her lover, rejoiced after Kristie said yes.

Kerr, who signed for Chelsea from Chicago Red Stars, raised her left hand in celebration as Kristie followed her behind.

She had a broad smile as she walked close to the love of her life as they both showed off their engagement rings.
