The re-construction of the Kumasi Central Market has brought huge excitement among the people of the Ashanti Region and beyond.
The market is gradually taking shape after it was gutted by fire some months back.
In April traders at the Kumasi Central Market lost millions of cedis after their products were burnt following the fire outbreak.

However, the then Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu liaised with Parliament to secure a $295 million loan from Brazil for the reconstruction of the place.
Fast forward and the revamping of the market has already taken off, with the place now looking very glittering and more appealing.
