Popular Ghanaian gospel singer, Obaapa Christy, formerly known as Christiana Love, has disclosed that she doesn’t have any regrets about divorcing her ex-husband.

According to Christy, parting ways with her ex-husband, Pastor Love Hammond was the best decision for her.

There are some rumors the once influential gospel minister, is now struggling in her music career as compared to her former days with Pastor Love.

However, speaking in an interview on Accra-based Peace FM, Obaapa Christy rubbished the claims, insisting that she is struggling as is being speculated.

“Who says I have regretted divorcing my ex-husband, it is never true, look at me, am I looking bad?,” the gospel singer quizzed.

Christian Love shot to fame after releasing her first album, and continued to churn out hit tracks until she took over the Ghanaian gospel industry.

However, a few years ago, the couple was cast in a negative light as she and her ex-husband took to a live radio interview to settle scores with their private lives and marriage.

Her marriage with Pastor Love, who was behind her music career eventually ended.

Obaapa Christy is now married to another man. She recently delivered a baby boy in the United States.
