4 reasons why Accra is better than Lagos

Accra is safe

Though - like all major cities - there are neighborhoods where it wouldn't be advisable for one to go without proper supervision, many argue that Accra is a much safer city in general compared to Lagos.

Traffic isn't too bad...in comparison

Everyone who's been to Lagos will tell you about the crippling traffic that city tends to experience. Though Accra too has its road traffic problems, they are reasonably small in comparison.

It's not so crowded

According to a 2014 report by Nigeria's National Population Commission, with 21 million people, Lagos is the most populous city in the continent of Africa.

Unemployment rate

According to information culled from various sources including both cities' official websites, the unemployment rate in Lagos [%21] is double that of Accra [%11]. A low rate of unemployment is a good indicator of better opportunities and economic growth.
