'Secret' behind the name of Stonebwoy's daughter revealed

- Stonebwoy and Louisa Satekla have decided to give their daughter a special name

- It has however been discovered that the name was given in memory of Stonebwoy’s late mother

Multiple award-winning dancehall act, Stonebwoy, known in real life as Livingstone Etse Satekla and wife, Dr. Louisa Satekla have made headlines with the birth and christening of their first child.

The ‘People Dey’ singer, as the father of the adorable baby whose first picture has been released on Instagram, decided to give his daughter a very familiar name which was very special to him.

Stonebwoy decided to name his daughter, Catherine, in memory of his late mother, Madam Catherine Satekla.

The name was revealed at the well-attended naming ceremony that was held at the residence of the musician and his wife.

After the ceremony, the musician posted the very first picture of his latest bundle of joy on his social media account.

The picture showed only the arm of the little baby with the name tag, ‘Catherine’ made in gold showing around her little wrist.

According to the proud father, his first daughter would be known and called, Catherine-Jidula Satekla. It is without a doubt that Stonebwoy wanted to honor the memory of his late mother by naming his daughter after her so as to preserve her memory.

Stonebwoy lost his mother at the 37 Military Hospital in August 2015 and it has been clear that the artiste has not still been able to move on.

His latest album, ‘Epistles of Mama’ sought to eulogize his mother with a song with one of the songs titled, ‘Mama’.

At the BHIM Nation concert, Stonebwoy is reported to have cried when he performed a song in memory of his mother.
