Duncan-Williams' thugs storm Tema branch over non-payment for use of Action Chapel name

- Some thugs from Duncan-Williams' Action Chapel International have reportedly disrupted service at the church's Tema Community 10 branch

- Their action follows the refusal of the branch to pay a 10% commission for the use of the Action Chapel franchise

- The thugs were reportedly led by Bishop Saah, the administrative bishop of the ACI

There was chaos when some thugs in the company of Bishop James Saah, the administrative bishop of the Action Chapel International (ACI), stormed the Tema Community 10 branch of the church to halt service.

Bishop Saah and the well-muscled men reportedly took the action over the refusal of the branch to pay a 10 percent commission for its use of the ACI franchise for sometime now.

According to a report YEN.com.gh sighted on Mynewsgh.com, there had been efforts to get the branch to pay the mother church even to the extent of the founder and leader, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams stepping in.

It was after all these efforts proved futile and the branch's pastor refused to pay that Bishop Saah and his 'macho men' stormed the branch.

Reacting to the incident, the branch pastor explained that it was out of his own will that he decided to partner with the mother Action Chapel to set up its branch at Tema but the mother church never assisted him in any way to get the church to where it is now, for which reason he had resolved not to ever pay Duncan-Williams a dime again.

“I am not a violent person, if not like Bishop James Saah would have left here as a dead man. I am a Zongo boy, they don’t know. I grew up in Ashaiman, I can get boys too. But I love peace,” the pastor is reported to have said.

Feeling humiliated by the action from the mother church, the pastor is reported to have decided to take off the name of Action Chapel name.

He avers that the name has been a “useless”, “expensive” addition to their church which has membership of a little above 100 worshipers with a reported GHC 606,000 in their account.
